International player Vitalie Bordian returned to the internal championship after a pause of 13 years. The fullback will continue his career at Veris Chisinau, it is said on the team’s website, quoted by IPN.
In 2008, Bordian was named the best player in Moldova. He played 34 matches for the national team and scored only one goal, against the squad of Lithuania. When playing for Metalist Harkov, Bordian became four times bronze medalist in the championship of Ukraine. In his career, the 30-year-old footballer also played for Zimbru, Hoverla and Volga.
Instead, Veris parted with fullbacks Dumitru Bacal and Andrian Cascaval and strikers Nicolae Milinceanu and Mihai Turcan. The sides terminated the contracts by common consent.
Veris will play the next match in the National Division against Saxan, in Orhei on September 14. The team trained by Lilian Popescu ranks fourth with 10 points. It has by four points fewer than leader Dacia.
