A vegetation fire has broken out along the Chisinau–Straseni route, near the city of Vatra. Firefighters are on-site, battling the blaze, IPN reports.
The fire has spread over a large area of reeds along the lake’s shore.
The emergency call was received at 14:03. Two teams of rescuers and firefighters were dispatched to the scene. At this moment, firefighters are working to contain and extinguish the fire.
No casualties have been reported.
