Vegetables of poor quality supplied to kindergartens
After some of the kindergartens in Chisinau were supplied with horse meat and bread made from fodder wheat, it was established that the vegetables and dairy products taken to the kindergartens are not in the best condition, the head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
According to the official, starting with 7am, the vehicles that distribute food products to the kindergartens are checked thoroughly. A number of 38 such inspections were carried out last week.
The administrations of the kindergartens were cautioned not to accept products of a poor quality. The companies were also warned that the Chisinau administration will terminate the contracts with them if they supply unsafe food products.
The economic entities that supplied horse meat to kindergartens instead of beef and bread of a poor quality were included in the blacklist and will not be able to take part in tender contests for the distribution of food products.
