Veaceslav Untila: September 5, 2010 is a test of political maturity for Moldovans
The chairman of the European Action Movement (MAE) Veaceslav Untila said Sunday after voting that the day of September 5, 2010 is a test of political maturity for the Moldovan people, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The MAE leader said this day will remain in Moldova’s history as a first test for democracy. The direction that Moldova will follow will become clear after the referendum, he stated.
The Moldovans decide today if the head of state will be elected by popular vote or in Parliament by the vote of 61 MPs.
For the plebiscite to be validated, the turnout must be 1/3 of the voters.
