Veaceslav Untila: Parliamentary session was marked by two notable events

Liberal MP Veaceslav Untila, in the last sitting of the spring-summer session of Parliament, said this session was marked by two notable events for the Liberals. The first is the victory in the local elections in Chisinau municipality and the second is the fact that the Liberals were able to overcome the party vainglory and, together with the PLDM and PDM, managed to form a parliamentary coalition that is very needed by Moldova, IPN reports.

Veaceslav Untila said it is very risky to come to govern in a critical moment. The Liberals took such a step consciously and are sure that the AEI 3 will succeed. The opposition MPs should stop criticizing the government because many problems date from the period when they were in power.

The lawmaker said the Liberal Party will do its best to bring a team of European law experts to Moldova even if they didn’t manage to agree to name a European as prosecutor general as they wanted from the start, but it is important that this institution be headed by an upright and independent person.

Untila also said that the team of Liberals is ready to provide support and to take all the necessary measures to improve the situation for the sake of people who voted for them.
