Veaceslav Untila excluded from Parliament's Standing Bureau
Veaceslav Untila, former leader of the parliamentary group of the Moldova Noastra Alliance (AMN), was excluded from the group and the Parliament's Standing Bureau. Untila will be replaced by Vasile Balan, the current leader of the faction, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The decision was taken after Veaceslav Untila left the AMN and joined the European Action Movement (MAE), which he now heads. Untila was also discharged from the post of leader of Moldova's delegation to NATO. This post will be held by the MP of the AMN Ion Plesca.
Veaceslav Untila said earlier he will continue to work as part of the Liberal-Democratic coalition, but as unaffiliated MP. On February 11, he announced he defected from the AMN's faction and, together with another former members of the AMN Iurie Colesnic, formed the group of MAE MPs in the Parliament.
