Veaceslav Untila, AMN: “It was the first session that marked Moldova's return to normality”

“The current session was important but difficult. We worked in tough conditions as the Communist faction put up a strong resistance, forgetting their slogans about the country's interests, patriotism and the need to serve the people after the elections,” the leader of the parliamentary group of the Moldova Noastra Alliance Veaceslav Untila said at the end of the last sitting of the first autumn-winter session of the present Parliament, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The Communist government left us an empty budget that did not include money at least for nominal compensations. However, we managed to adopt laws without which the country cannot survive. In a period of crisis, we planned a socially-oriented budget,” Untila said. Veaceslav Untila spoke about the unity and determination shown by the Alliance for European Integration despite the Communist faction's efforts to destroy the primary results achieved by the new government. “The Alliance during this session laid the foundation for Moldova's revival as a democratic state and a state of law. It is true that the results achieved are not yet very impressive, but this is a promising beginning,” Untila said, stressing there is no way back for Moldova.
