Veaceslav Dobîndă proposed for Ambassador to the Netherlands

The secretary of state of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Veaceslav Dobîndă is to be nominated as Moldova’s Ambassador to the Netherlands. The Parliament’s commission on foreign policy and European integration approved the decision on the proposed candidate, IPN reports.

Veaceslav Dobîndă is a career diplomat who has worked for 22 years in international relations and the diplomatic service. He holds the diplomatic rank of ambassador and now serves as secretary of state at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. He earlier represented Moldova as ambassador to Estonia, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Iceland.

In accordance with the law on the diplomatic service, the candidates for ambassador are proposed to the Government by the minister of foreign affairs and European integration after consulting the Parliament’s commission on foreign policy and European integration.
