The situation created at the municipal enterprise “Capital Constructions Division” is a two-bladed sword where both the municipality and contractor seem to be right, said Chisinau councilor of the Electoral Bloc “European People’s Platform – Iurie Leanca” Veaceslav Bulat.

Contacted by IPN, Veaceslav Bulat said that at this stage, when he does not know many details, it seems to him that both of the sides are right and the truth is somewhere in the middle.

“The contractor executed works that weren’t coordinated with the City Hall for unknown reasons and it thus seems that the City Hall is right. On the other hand, when the works were completed, a final reception commission that included representatives of the City Hall too signed the works acceptance documents. In this case, it seems that the contractor is right,” stated the councilor.

Veaceslav Bulat noted that he is waiting for the results of the commission of inquiry set up by the Chisinau Council, which is to establish a number of circumstances of this dispute. This position on the situation at the municipal enterprise was preliminarily discussed within the group and an official position is to be adopted next week.

At end-April, the Chisinau Appeals Court decided to sequestrate the possessions of the Division and named a temporary administrator at this body, which is one of the richest divisions from patrimonial viewpoint and which risks being declared insolvent.
