Starting with January 1, 2013, the economic entities that pay VAT will send fiscal reports only through the Electronic Statement service, the head of the Assistance and Contact Center for Taxpayers of Fiscservinform Viorel Bolocan said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
The company managers, taxpayers or other persons empowered to sign fiscal reports are to present themselves at the ten connection centers set up throughout the country to sign the agreement on connection to the Electronic Statement service and to obtain digital signatures by the end of the year. “The notices sent by the State Tax Service to taxpayers contains information about the date and place where they must go and the list of necessary documents,” Viorel Bolocan said in an interview.
The digital signatures for authentication are issued free of charge. 25 minutes of the 45 allotted to each taxpayer for signing the connection agreement are used for instruction. Those who want will be taught how to use the computer and the Electronic Statement service at special courses.

They total 15,000 taxpayers,” stated Viorel Bolocan.
