Vasile Ursu intends to repair Chisinau’s schools with confiscated dye

The interim Mayor of Chisinau, Vasile Ursu, says that the dye confiscated from the unauthorized dealers from the market located on Cojocarilor Street would be sufficient for repairing all the education institutions in Chisinau, for 5 or even 9 years from now on. He launched this idea at the meeting of the City Hall on Monday, August 14. According to Ursu, most of the dealers do not have authorizations, and Rasacani district’s pretur is guilty of offering authorizations for an area of 30 square meters instead of 1-2 meters as the norms require. The cited source states that the dye sold in this market is manufactured in deposits near the Central Market, saying that such a quantity of goods cannot be imported from Bulgaria, Germany etc. Ursu urged again the police to find these “basements”. According to the deputy chief of the Exceptional Situations Department, Aurel Climasevschi, now the zone is inspected in order to exclude any possibility of a fire that could destroy a half of the district. A week ago, Ursu asked the municipal police and the Trade and Public Alimentation Department to undertake all the necessary measures to stop the unauthorized trade with construction materials on Cojocarilor Street, and the Exceptional Situations Department – to inspect if the fire safety norms are respected in the zone.
