Vasile Tarlev – worried of sudden temperature drop
The Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev, being also the head of the Commission for Exceptional Situations of the R. of Moldova, is worried by the eventual exceptional situations (complicated weather conditions) accompanied by the sudden drop of the air temperature, showers or snowfalls, strong wind.
He signed a disposition, in which he requested prompt reactions in such cases from Commissions for exceptional situations, public administration, other central administrative authorities, the governor of U.T.A. Gagauzia (Gagauz-Ery), raion chairmen and municipal mayors.
Head of the Government ordered the organization of a special 24/7 service and the formation of special intervention groups, capable of taking the necessary measures in order to eliminate the consequences of natural calamities or other disasters. In the context, the PM solicited creation of reserves of materials, equipment, fuel and lubricants in order to ensure the activity of the respective subdivisions in any conditions.
Responsible persons from the State hydro-meteorological service told Info-Prim Neo that no exceptional situations are forecasted for the next week. Temperature that would be registered will be a common one for this period of autumn. The lowest temperature from the current autumn – minus 8 degrees Celsius - will be registered in the night of November 7. During the current week, some weak snowfalls may take place, employees of the service announce.
