Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vasile Bumacov will go to Moscow on October 18, Prime Minister Iurie Leanca said in the program “Moldova live” on the public TV channel Moldova 1, IPN reports.

The Premier voiced hope that the minister will come with good news after Russian and Moldovan experts made reciprocal visits in order to identify solutions to the problem of Moldovan wine exports to Russia.

At the beginning of September, Russia imposed a band on the imports of Moldovan wine and cognac. Last weekend, a team of Russian experts paid a visit to Moldova.
