The Communists Party threatens the Alliance for European Integration (AEI) when its says it wants to hold a counter-referendum, while the misunderstanding between the government and the Opposition become more variegated, considers the head of Radio Free Europe's Office in Chisinau Vasile Botnaru. “All the politicians, especially those who are in the Parliament, take great risks. They will be all penalized,” the analyst told Info-Prim Neo. Vasile Botnaru said the AEI and the PCRM should think about the well-being of the people, not political advantages. “I hope they will understand this as the voters will judge them,” he said. On March 9, the AEI said the early legislative elections will be avoided by holding a referendum on the modification of the Constitution. The Communist Opposition accused the government of usurping the power and said they will hold a counter-referendum to give a vote of no confidence to the government coalition.
