MP Vasile Bolea, who contends for the mayoralty of the municipality of Chisinau, promises that if he is elected to this post, he will launch a broad program to build and repair municipal infrastructure, IPN reports.

In a press briefing given against the background of a building site, the Revival Party’s candidate for mayor said that a clear urban development plan for Chisinau is needed. “Without such a plan, we cannot have a clear view on the directions we need to follow to develop the municipality of Chisinau and cannot prioritize the projects that are very important for our municipality,” stated Vasile Bolea.

He noted that his electoral program contains a series of measures to revitalize the building sector and to build proper infrastructure. “First of all, we will launch a broad program to build and repair the municipality’s infrastructure. This will not only create jobs, but will also contribute to improving the quality of life of each inhabitant of the municipality of Chisinau. Modern, efficient infrastructure will make our city more accessible, safer and friendlier,” said the candidate.

As it was decided by draw, the Revival Party’s candidate for mayor will be next to No. 14 on the ballot.
