Former prosecutor general Valeriu Zubco was summoned to the National Anticorruption Center (CNA) on March 26 to provide explanations over the undeclared conflict of interests at the hunting in the Domneasca Forest, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the institution.

The document on the conflict of interests was drawn up by the National Integrity Commission and sent to the CAN last week for producing a report on the offense, in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offenses.

If the offense is confirmed, the CNA will impose the penalty. The non-declaration of the conflict of interests is punished with a fine of 2,000 to 6,000 lei.

Valeriu Zubco took part in the December 23 hunting in the Domneasca Forest, where a man was wounded fatally.
