The candidate designate for premiership Valeriu Strelet starts consultations on the government program today, July 28. The MP of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) is to have meetings with the academic community, employers and with the parliamentary groups, IPN reports.
According to a communique of the PLDM, Valeriu Strelet had the first meeting with representatives of the Democratic Party and at 7pm today will also meet with representatives of the Liberal Party. Also today, the candidate for premiership will have meetings at the Academy of Sciences of Moldova starting at 4pm, at the Palace of the Republic starting at 5pm, and at the Trade Unions House with representatives of trade unions, starting at 6pm.
On July 29, at 11:30am, Valeriu Strelet will meet with representatives of the Association of Creation Unions, while at 1pm - with representatives of civil society, at the Palace of the Republic. The candidate will also discuss with representatives of the business community in office 301 of the Parliament Building at 2:30pm.
President Nicolae Timofti in the evening of July 27 signed a decree by which Valeriu Strelet is nominated as a candidate for Prime Minister. Valeriu Strelet was fielded by the parliamentary group of the PLDM, which is to hold the post of Premier in accordance with the agreement to form the AEI 3.
