The long-time head of Chisinau’s Buiucani district Valeriu Nemerenco and his deputy Vadim Brînzaniuc will swap positions under a decree signed today by acting mayor Ruslan Codreanu.
The Mayor’s Office didn’t provide any explanations.
Valeriu Nemerenco had been at the helm of the Buiucani district office since 1990. Vadim Brînzaniuc, previously the Mayor’s Office spokesperson, was appointed deputy head last November.
