Valeriu Muravschi: Moldova does not have a future without essential changes

The Republic of Moldova does not have a future. If things continue at the current pace, in ten years the Republic of Moldova could become depopulated and the state could disappear, ex-Premier Valeriu Muravschi stated in the program “Emphasis on today” on TVR Moldova channel, IPN reports.

According to him, during the 27 years of independence, the Republic of Moldova had weak governments. The generations of rulers didn’t take care to bring up a new generation of politicians. “Moreover, we cannot say that we have political parties in Moldova at present as these are actually Ltds with an associate and this associate has a bag full of money,” said Valeriu Muravschi.

Speaking about the electoral process, Valeriu Muravschi noted that throughout the independence period the voters in Moldova were used and manipulated through the angle of the geopolitical course. “Regrettably, this thing can still happen today,” stated the ex-Prime Minister.

Valeriu Muravschi said that earlier he was optimistic about the possibility of improvements in Moldova, but now he has no hopes. “We do not have human capital, intellectual capital in general to change the situation,” he noted.
