To be able to help guide Moldova on the democratic path, the healthy political forces of the country that are anti-Putin, anti-Moscow, pro-European, pro-Romanian and anti-oligarchic should combine forces so as to offer the Republic of Moldova a simple voting option, vice president of the Liberal Party Valeriu Munteanu was quoted by IPN as saying in the program “Important” on TVC21 channel, IPN reports.
According to him, the local elections in Chisinau showed there is big polarization and when the voting option is not simplified for the people, the situation becomes very difficult. “When there are five or six options, the situation will be in favor of the Democratic Party and the Party of Socialists that will try to use the very well-known “devideet impera” and another, newer principle – making of copies from the original,” stated the politician.
Valeriu Munteanu noted the Liberal Party does not yet have the instruments necessary for the parliamentary elections. “We are preparing a congress. The Liberal Party this time again should be very responsible and, respectively, should continue to mobilize the people for achieving a very important desideratum,” he said.
