Valeriu Matei: Media outlets loyal to Communists intend to sabotage people’s vote

“The Prosecutor General‘s Office, the Security and Information Service, the Broadcasting Coordination Council and the Supervisory Board must take notice of and put an end to the media terrorism. The media outlets considered Vladimir Voronin‘s ‘property’ points insults at the Alliance for European Integration,” the former deputy speaker of Parliament and candidate for the presidency in 1996, writer Valeriu Matei said during a program on “Vocea Basarabiei” radio station, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Matei, these and other media organizations loyal to the Communists have a plan to sabotage the people’s vote, destabilize the situation in the country, denigrate the parliamentary majority and ignore the Parliament’s decisions. Such actions are illegal in nature and overlooking them would represent a bad example. The former deputy speaker said that some so-called journalists are like Sharikov’s children, from the famous novel of Bulgakov, involved in a cat extermination campaign. The given media outlets play the game of the Communists, who want to cause a collapse, a state of chaos after appropriating all the money from the state treasury and leaving an enormous trade deficit behind. “The Communist government left us at a dead point. We had a government that behaves now like a team of gangsters that run away with the stolen goods,” Valeriu Matei said.
