Valeriu Andronic: I believe Moldova will make it to the Finals

Moldova squad player Valeriu Andronic is in confident mood ahead of the World Cup qualifying campaign, which begins against Latvia on September 6 and continues with Israel on September 10, and he believes Moldova has enough capacity to net six points in the two matches. Asked by Info-Prim Neo about the state of the players' spirits before the qualifiers, the footballer stated that the current squad is more united and confident than ever in its ability to accomplish great results. When asked about Moldova's chances to qualify for the 2010 World Cup Finals in South Africa, Andronic said he saw no reasons why the Moldovan football players couldn't do that. “I am sure that we can reach the Finals in 2010, although many people think we don't stand a chance. The level of world football has somewhat evened up, and I don't rule out that even Luxembourg can be a trouble for the mighty teams”. Valeriu Andronic, 26, is currently playing for the Russian club Baltika (Kaliningrad) and is believed to be one of the most skilled players of the squad coached by Dobrovolski.
