Minister of Labor Valentina Buliga, who is the Democratic Party's candidate for mayor of Chisinau, Wednesday submitted the documents to be registered as election runner, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Today, the municipality of Chisinau is like an orphan. Nobody really takes care of the residents of Chisinau. What we want to do for Chisinau cannot be done with tanks and pistols. We want to develop the infrastructure and improve the quality of the services provided in Chisinau. Each family should live in welfare,” said Valentina Buliga. The Democratic Party also lodged the list of candidates for the Chisinau Municipal Council. The list is topped by Valentina Buliga. She is followed by former Minster of Public Administration Valentin Guznac, head of the Interethnic Relations Bureau Elena Beleakova, and head of Botanica district Vladimir Guritsenko. Valentina Buliga is the ninth candidate for the mayoralty of Chisinau, who applied to be registered officially. The battle for the post of mayor will involve the PSD's candidate Sergiu Coropceanu, the PLDM's candidate Victor Bodiu, Radu Busila, of the PPCD, Valentin Crylov, of the Party of Socialists “Patria Rodina”, president of the Our Home Moldova Party Oleg Onishchenko, leader of the Movement “Ravnopravie” Valery Climenco, the PCRM's candidate Igor Dodon, and president of the National Liberal Party Vitalia Pavlichenko.
