Vadim Pistrinciuc: PLDM has candidates for elections, but will not make them public yet

The Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) has candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections, but will not make public them for now as there is a risk that these will be subject to a denigration campaign, vice president of the PLDM Vadim Pistrinciuc was quoted by IPN as saying in the talk show “Truth Live”.

“We already have candidates for the elections, but will not announce them now as, if we make them public now, in two-three days you will see news items about them, informing that something was found in the trunk of the car of one of these, something else was found in the pocket of the second, the third is s terrorist, etc. They will be immediately neutralized,” stated the MP.

According to him, the candidates of the opposition parties PAS, PPDA and PL will have the same fate. “In two-three days, those who have chances of winning will be ‘devoured’,” said the Lib-Dem.

He noted that polls were carried out in districts to identify opinion leaders in regions. Those who are in power attracted on their side those whom they could, while those who couldn’t be influenced experience problems. “The potential regional leaders who can run in particular single-member constituencies were immediately annihilated,” stated Vadim Pistrinciuc.
