Those who want to get a vaccine against the novel coronavirus are expected at a new immunization marathon during May 28-30. The persons need only the identity card and no prior registration is necessary, IPN reports.

The marathon is staged at the Palace of the Republic located at 16 Maria Cebotari St, from 9am until 10pm. There will be available such vaccines as AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Sinopharm and CoronaVac (Sinovac).

The event is organized by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection and the Chisinau City Hall with the assistance of the Municipal Vaccination Center of Saint Trinity Hospital, “Nicolae Testemiţanu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy and “Raisa Pacalo” College of Excellence in Medicine and Pharmacy.

“Come to the marathon together with the whole family, friends or colleague. Together we can save lives and can return to a new reality and a healthier environment for us and the dear ones,” says the Ministry of Health’s message.

The immunization campaign in Moldova was launched on March 2 and 306,610 persons have been vaccinated by now. On May 18, the National Immunization Coordination Committee decided to fully launch the third vaccination stage that covers the eligible general population.
