The Moldovan people can schedule a vacation to relax and improve their health at health spas in Romania at reasonable prices until May 30, 2009, the Tourism Bureau of Romania said in a communiqué, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. The “Balneal Decade” campaign was launched in Moldova for the first time this year. The offer includes a 10-day vacation with three meals a day and treatment for about 155 euros in a two-star hotel and 180 euros for accommodation in a three-star hotel. The campaign “A Week of Treatment in Health Spas” will also continue until May 30. Over 30 two and three-star hotels are participating in the campaign. The offer varies between 70 euros for 6 nights/7 days with breakfast included at a two-star hotel and 90 euros for the same period at a three-star hotel, plus the costs of medical insurance, transport, meals and medical treatment. The most famous health spas – Baile Herculane, Sovata, Slanic Moldova, Vatra Dornei, Baile Olanesti, Baile Tusnad, Sinaia – provide treatment against rheumatic, cardio-vascular and respiratory diseases, numerous disorders of the digestive and nervous systems, dermatological and gynecological diseases. About 4,000 Moldovans go to health spas in Romania for baths or cures with mineral water every year, the communiqués says. To benefit from the offers, those interested can apply to travel agencies that sell tickets to Romania. The entry visa is free of charge.
