The Save Bessarabia Union (USB) and the Liberal Party (PL) are the first parties that accepted the invitation to the dialogue issued by the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) and went to the meeting that was held today at the head office of the Writers Union of Moldova, IPN reports, quoting a press release of AUR.
According to AUR president Vlad Biletski, the discussions between the two parties were constructive. There is a basis for dialog and each party stated its viewpoint. ”We are glad that this occasion existed and we sincerely hope that we will reach a consensus the coming days,” stated Vlad Biletski.
AUR noted that other meetings with parties of Chisinau will be held the coming days so as to consider forming a common front for the snap parliamentary elections of July 11.
The meeting was mediated by AUR vice leader Daniel Gheorghe Rusu, Romanian MP. “AUR came here to unite the people, not to divide them. They all came to debate. The current parties want to keep the Moldovans divided. I saw good things. There is dialogue and hope. Everyone should leave vainglory aside as this does not do any good,” he stated.
According to AUR, the political forces are to discuss the things considered at today’s meeting inside the party.
