The leader of Our Party Renato Usatîi, who is the mayor of Bălți, said the president of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” Andrei Năstase was hatching a plan to extradite him to the Russian Federation, IPN reports.
“I changed my opinion about him (Andrei Năstase – e.n.) when I convinced myself that he serves the interests of Dodon and other rascals,” Renato Usatîi stated in the talk show “Space of Freedom” with Lilia Burakovski.
“I will relate a situation. What did Andrei Năstase do the second and third days after his appointment as minister of home affairs? Do you remember how I returned through the Sculeni customs? Between 6am and 8am, he had a series of meetings and meanwhile spoke for several times with Dodon, with whom they officially formed an alliance, and with some shabby fellows, trying to create a plan for extraditing me based on legal reasons,” said the politician.
“He was told that this cannot be done as Moldova does not extradite its citizens. This is stipulated in the Constriction and there is no place for maneuvers.
“He through about arresting me on the bridge between Romania and Moldova, which is a neutral territory, and to transport me in transit. This is a shame for a jurist, lawyer, ex-prosecutor. I have evidence. There were persons who told him: “Andrei, your rating will plummet in an hour if do this,” said the president of Our Party.
