The United States helps the Republic of Moldova to overcome the energy crisis by offering US$30 million in direct budget support through USAID, IPN reports, quoting the presidential press service.
The money will be transferred to the Government of the Republic of Moldova for covering the costs associated with the purchase of energy resources whose prices increased owing to the war in Ukraine.
The funds could be used to pay subsidies to the citizens through bills and to help the business entities to cope with the high prices of energy resources.
