US Embassy to hold seminars for Roma people
The U.S. Embassy in Chisinau will organize a series of meetings and trainings for a group of Roma NGO representatives focused on the identification of community needs and designing project proposals, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a press release from the embassy.
The seminars will be held as part of a program designed to support Roma efforts to develop the community's ability to participate in civil society, in recognition of International Roma Day and the importance of the Roma community in Moldova. The best proposals that are seen as yielding specific and achievable results will be considered for funding through a micro grant program, it was said.
