The U.S. Embassy confirms media reports that a suspicious device was found in front of the Embassy in Chisinau on July 5, 2016.
According to a press statement of the Embassy, in coordination with local law enforcement representatives, embassy security personnel determined that the device posed no physical threat to anyone or any property on the premises, IPN reprots.
The U.S. Embassy thanks local law enforcement for their prompt and professional response.
