U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken on March 2 – 7 will travel to a number of European states, including Moldova, to meet with a wide range of government officials and non-governmental experts to discuss key political, economic, and security issues, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the U.S. Embassy, Deputy Secretary Blinken will travel to Chisinau on March 3 to meet with senior officials from the newly formed Moldovan government. Blinken’s visit reiterates the United States’ support for quick action on necessary reforms as Moldova continues on its path of European integration.
On March 2, the American official will visit Paris. From Chisinau, the official will leave for London and then for Berlin, while on March 6 he will go to Kiev.
