Prime Minister Dorin Recean expressed gratitude for the support that the United States provides to Moldova, including in the current regional context. During a farewell meeting, the Moldovan official appreciated Ambassador Kent D. Logsdon’s personal contribution to strengthening the Moldovan-American relations, stressing that they reached a new level during the American diplomat’s tenure, IPN reports.

Among the projects carried out in Moldova with U.S. support are those in the fields of agriculture, security, tourism, creative industries, water supply and sanitation. “Our partnership has become even stronger in the past three years. We implemented projects that have brought benefits to every citizen and we managed to overcome more easily the crises caused by the pandemic and the war in Ukraine,” said Dorin Recean.

Dorin Recean and Kent D. Logsdon expressed confidence that relations between the U.S. and Moldova will remain as friendly and productive.
