Young people aged between 15 and 17 are invited to apply to the project “Young Leadership Summer School” between June 27 and July 5, 2017. The project was launched in a news conference at IPN by the Youth Movement “Urmasii lui Stefan” (“Followers of Stefan”). According to the organization’s chairman Dumitru Roibu, the program centers on the personal and professional development of the young people.
Those who want can register for the program on the organization’s Facebook page by filling out a questionnaire. Forty young people will be chosen in the end to take part in two sessions of the program during five days.
The selected young people will be involved in different activities that will focus on cultural diversity, time management, volunteering opportunities and leadership for four-five hours daily. On the fifth day, the program will be assessed and completed.
“The young leadership is the platform that can offer a lot of young people, either from rural or urban areas, the chance to distinguish themselves in the public sphere, to implement ideas, to produce positive effects on our society,” said Dumitru Roibu.
The selected young people will take part in the program free of charge. The names of the participants will be announced on July 6-7.
