The urgent appointments for taking the driving test and theoretical exam for obtaining a driver’s license can be scheduled online only as of April 19. An order to this effect was signed by the director of the Public Services Agency Sergey Railean, IPN reports.

The future drivers can make an appointment on www.programari.registru.md or through the official website of the Public Service Agency www.asp.gov.md. The longest period for an urgent appointment for taking the requested exam is three days from the next day of the online submission. The service costs 300 lei.

According to Sergey Railean, with the implementation of the service “Urgent appointment for the exam for obtaining a driver’s license”, the human factor in the process of examining future drivers will be reduced to a maximum.

The driving test is taken only by persons who passed the theoretical exam. Those who fail can take the exam or test again in at least five calendar days in the case of the theoretical exam and in at least ten calendar days in the case of the driving test. As of April 13, the positive result in the theoretical exam is valid for a year.

The free service “Preliminary appointment for the exam for obtaining a driver’s license” can be further used through telephone, online or directly at the local subdivision.
