The Urban Bus Fleet (PUA) sells starting the afternoon of Friday, September 29, 4700 month tickets. The head of PAU, Anatol Gheorghita says that 2600 of them are destined to pupils, 1500 – for students and 600 – for grown-ups. A month ticket for pupils costs MDL 55, one for students – MDL 72 and the one for grown-ups is sold with the price of MDL 104. The head of the Electric Transport Management (RTE), Victor Martiniuc declared that the enterprise put up for sale 48 000 month tickets starting Saturday. The month ticket for pupils costs MDL 30 and the one for students MDL 45. Grown-ups will pay MDL 70 for a trolleybus month ticket. Of those 48000 month tickets issued by the Management, 15 thousand are destined to pupils and students. According to Victor Martiniuc, the number of month tickets for October is comparable with the one of the last months. The prices of month tickets were settled according to a recent decision of the Chisinau Municipal Council, which canceled the prices settled by the municipal transport enterprises and obliged to increase them only proportionally to the increase of the ticket for one travel.
