Unvaccinated children will not be admitted to school

The constitutional judges have dissenting opinions as to the mandatory vaccination of children. The Constitutional Court recorded a parity of votes when examining a challenge filed by ombudsman Anatolie Munteanu, who questioned the constitutionality of a legal provision saying that only the vaccinated children can be admitted to education and recreational institutions. Constitutional Court president Alexandru Tanase said when there is a parity of votes the examination of the case is stopped and the legal provision is considered constitutional. The decision is definitive and cannot be appealed. The constitutional experts contacted by Info-Prim Neo said the Constitutional Court does not examine repeated applications with the same content. If the decision concerning a provision is not adopted by a majority of votes, the provision is considered constitutional. If the composition of the Supreme Court of Justice is changed, the issue can be discussed again, but there must be objective reasons.
