Universities start second admission round
Students who didn't manage to secure a place in college in the regular admission round may now try to get one of the unclaimed places in the second round of admission, which starts today, August 6, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to information presented by the Ministry of Education, there are 550 budget-subsidized places left for higher education courses. Of them, over 150 seats are allocated for non-Romanian speakers and 147 for students living in the eastern districts of the country.
The Moldova State University has almost 100 vacant places with scholarship, the Technical University – 97, the Balti University “Alecu Russo” – 76, the Pedagocical University “Ion Creanga” – 56 and the Agrarian University – 32.
The most vacant seats are at the faculties of Education Sciences, Natural Sciences and Humanitarian Sciences.
The second admission round will close on August 11 and its results will be announced the next day.
