Unité, the brand of the national telecoms carrier SA Moldtelecom, has launched two exclusive mobile number portability offers on July 1. The company hopes that the portability system will enable it to attract more clients to its network, IPN reports.

Moldtelecom deputy director general Constantin Shevchuk told a news conference that Unité is the youngest 3G mobile phone operator with national coverage in Moldova. It also has the best communication offers as it is the only operator that provides bonuses for every minute of conversation within incoming calls from other national and international networks.

For the clients who want to use its network, Unité prepared the subscription Unic Promo that costs 19 lei a month and the package Multiplay. Unic enables the client to speak for 0.5 lei a minute with any operator and includes 1,000 MB of Internet traffic a month, free and unlimited calls and SMSes in the network, in the evening and on the weekend, and the Camarad Network option that consists of free and unlimited calls to five favorite numbers in the network. The promotion will last until September 30.

Multiplay offers subscription for minimum 10 lei a month for calls in the network with minutes included, separately for SMSes and mobile Internet through the telephone, subscription to mobile Internet by modem with 40 GB of Internet traffic included for 50 lei a month and 3G mobile phones for 1 leu on connection and Smartphone for 0 lei on connection, while afterward in installments.

Moldtelecom commercial director Ion Rosca said that those who will want to switch from an operator to Unité should only go to an office or shop of Moldtelecom with the identity card and file an application. After the application is submitted, the company waits for the answer from the donor operator and then replaces the SIM card.

Moldtelecom directorial general Vitalie Iurcu made an official invitation to the clients from other networks, assuring them that the national carrier is ready to receive all those who want into its Unité network and to provide them with the best communication offers. The people have the right to choose the most advantageous services, while the services for the clients of Unité will be not at all expensive. Unité is a national brand and all the revenues earned and taxes paid remain in Moldova.
