The UNION Political Movement condemns the welcoming of the separatist Transnistrian leader Vadim Krasnoselsky at the Presidential Residence in Condrița. Representatives of the movement demand to convene Parliament, to suspend Igor Dodon from office and to hold him accountable for treason.
“For the first time after 1990, we witness such an act of full defiance of the independence and sovereignty of the Republic of Moldova, of statehood itself that is so much “defended” by the pro-Russian left,” the political movement says in a press release that is quoted by IPN.
“After the employees of the Ministry of the Interior, by order of Dodon, mistreated the Nistru war veterans, dragging them with the face against the asphalt, the same Dodon now backslides, violating the Constitution and all the national and international normative documents concerning the unconstitutional Transnistrian regime, whose representatives, identified on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, should be arrested,” runs the UNION Movement’s press release.
“By inviting the separatist leader to make a visit Chisinau like a Head of State, Dodon defiled the honor of those killed in battle and offended the mothers and wives of those who lost their dear people on the battlefield in the Moldovan-Russian war.”
President Igor Dodon on July 28 had a meeting with the Transnistrian leader Vadim Krasnoselsky. According to the presidential press service, the bilateral meeting of the two was followed by a broad meeting of the sides.
