Union Fenosa will cut off indebted consumers without prior notice

The consumers that will not pay for the electric power within ten calendar days of the deadline indicated in the bill will be cut off without further notice, the Communication Department of Union Fenosa Company announces. So far the supplier sent letters with special warnings in such cases. The consumers cut off for not paying the electricity bill will be reconnected to the power supply network only after they settle the debts and pay the reconnection tax at the supplier’s commercial office. “If the consumer does not pay the electricity bill during ten days of the deadline, he already violates the payment regulations and is regarded as potential bad-payer. The electricity supplier will monitor with increased attention how he makes the payments,” a communiqué from Union Fenosa reads. The reconnection tax varies between 101.45 lei and 610.87 lei for household consumers and between 369.17 lei and 1,202.95 lei for economic agents.
