Union Fenosa Company is ready to bring not only investments but also technologies in Moldova

Union Fenosa Company (UF) can bring to Moldova not only investments but also technologies in the strategically important sector of electric power, president of the company, Pedro Lopez declared at a meeting in Madrid with the deputy minister Andrei Stratan, minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova. According to a press release of MFAEI, Pedro Lopez declared that Union Fenosa considers itself a reliable partner of the Government from Chisinau and that the administration of the company is satisfied with the current state of affairs of its subsidiary from Moldova. As well the president of the Spanish company appreciated the evolution of the discussions between Moldova and the European Union in the energetic sector, advancement of Moldova towards the Energetic Community in South-East Europe Treaty, as well as the necessary steps taken in order to enter the Union for the Coordination of Transmission of Electricity (UCTE) and considers them good perspectives for the development of the energetic sector in Moldova but also for identifying new cooperation opportunities between Moldova and EU. The investment possibilities in the financial banking sector of Moldova were discussed by the minister Andrei Stratan with the leadership of Santander International Banking Group. The Santander Hispano Group is one of the main financial structures in Europe and South America, with subsidiaries in over 42 countries.
