A man from Chisinau was hospitalised with shotgun wounds on Tuesday. The coordinating-doctor of the Chisinau Emergency Service Evelina Rusu told Info-Prim Neo that the man, 64, residing on Ion Pelivan Street asked the help of the doctors at around 20.30. He said that an unknown man shot at him, wounding his both shanks. Also on Tuesday, two persons were hospitalised with overdose of drugs. A man aged 75 tried to relieve his pain caused by an incurable disease by swallowing numerous pills. A woman attempted to commit suicide using the same method. Over the past 24 hours, the Chisinau Emergency Service registered 640 calls, including 11 cases of acute diarrheic diseases, 37 cases of virosis, 69 cases of traumatism and 8 strokes.
