The Representative Office of the United Nations Children΄s Fund (Unicef) in Moldova has launched its website – http://www.unicef.org/moldova/ro/ or www.unicef.md, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Angela Munteanu, communication program coordinator at Unicef Moldova, the website is a useful instrument for all those that deal with children΄s rights in their jobs and need fresh and relevant information. “This applies to persons working in healthcare, education, social protection as well as to decision makers, representatives of the civil society, journalists,ombudspersons. We also have sections intended for the parents and children,” Angela Munteanu said. The website contains the latest communiques, life stories, picture galleries, publications, studies and researchers in the Unicef΄s areas of activity such as protection of children΄s rights, teenage problems, children΄s access to education and medical services, violence and abuses against children, juvenile justice, impact of migration, social policies for children, etc.
