Almost 100 million lei will be allocated for the rehabilitation of 17.5 km of the local road Ungheni-Cetireni-Alexeevca. The financing contract was signed by the Centru Regional Development Agency and the Ungheni District Council, IPN reports.

In a press release, the Centru Regional Development Agency says platforms for stations will be built within the project. There will be put up road signs and paved the sidewalks.

Investments exceed 98 million lei. Over 65 million lei will be allocated from the National Regional Development Fund, while the local public authorities will contribute more than 7 million lei. Almost 26 million lei will be provided by the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure.

A tender contest to choose the contractor will be announced at the end of April or the start of May. The works are set to start in the middle of summer.
