The farmers who own land beyond the Rybnitsa-Tiraspol road will be registered as unemployed persons with a special status if their access to this land is limited and will get a monthly benefit of 700 lei, IPN reports, quoting a Cabinet decision.
The registration will be made by the National Employment Agency through its local subdivisions.
Limited access to the farmland means when 50% and more of the owned land cannot be cultivated. The persons who worked and paid contributions into the social insurance budget during at least 12 calendar months over the last 24 months prior to the registration as unemployed persons with a special status will receive 700 lei a month in benefit.
The changes made by the Cabinet will take effect on February 10, 2019. The benefit will be calculated by the National House of Social Insurance.
