The People’s Unemployed Persons’ Trade Union “Social Protection” will soon launch a hotline that the people could use to inform about their problems. In a news conference on Tuesday, the trade union’s head Alexandr Reahovschi said the authorities are too busy to deal with the problems faced by the unemployed or other socially underprivileged groups of people. Therefore, the members of the trade union decided to provide assistance to the unemployed persons, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Alexandr Reahovschi, most of the trade unions in Moldova do not fulfill their obligations. The unemployed people’s trade union aims to monitor the activity of the employment agencies and create a database of job vacancies that could be gratis accessed by students and pensioners. Alexandr Reahovschi said the trade union intends to attract young specialists from different areas, who will provide consultancy to the people. The Trade Union “Social Protection” was registered with the Ministry of Justice last October. It has 19 local offices all over Moldova.
