The UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) will support Moldova in implementing its National Development Strategy (NDS). Such a statement has been launched by the vice secretary of the commission, Paolo Garonna, at a meeting on June 18 with Moldovan economy deputy minister Iurie Muntean, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Economy and Trade Ministry. In order to attain the objectives provided for in the NDS, Moldova is going to get assistance from UNECE in the form of training, fact-finding visits and consultancy from international experts. Iurie Muntean appreciated UNECE's initiative to provide technical assistance to Moldova, underlining the experience of the UN commission for transport, infrastructure and public-private partnership. “Every area from these are of particular interest to Moldova, and taking over international practice will help us efficiently realize projects in different sectors of the national economy,” Iurie Muntean said.
