Three persons are suspected of procuring underage girls and face up to 20 years in jail. According to Vladimir Mosneaga, prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Special Cases, they identified two cases of sexual exploitation of underage girls in Chisinau municipality, IPN reports.

In the first case, there was arrested a man who procured three girls from socially deprived families aged between 15 and 17 in the period between the end of 2016 and this April. To attract more clients, this placed announcements with pictures of the girls on websites. Sums of 600 to 700 lei an hour were charged for the provided sexual services. Now the man is under arrest. The two apartments were the underage girls provided sex services and the man’s car were sequestrated.

In the second case, there were identified and arrested two brothers who, starting with 2016 until now, provided prostitutes in an apartment in Chisinau municipality, including underage girls. The procurers retained half of the sums earned by the girls for prostitution. As in the first case, the announcements about the provision of sex services were placed on a website.
