The Chisinau City Hall continues to discover unauthorized constructions. Such buildings will be liquidated under court decisions or transferred to the City Hall if the owners are not identified, Info-Prim Neo reports. Four cases have been sent to court, while another nine are still being examined. According to the head of Botanica district Vladimir Guritsenko, they are monitoring all the constructions in the district. Most of the unauthorized construction works are stopped and the buildings are demolished. There are cases when the owners cannot be identified. Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca said the fines for unauthorized constructions are too low, stressing that if the owners of the constructions are not found, some of these buildings could soon become municipal property.
